For the past few days, it had been a long and busy week for me……

Was working as a promoter for the Harvey Norman annual warehouse sales held from 9th – 12th april in benoi rd, near Joo Koon mrt.

Overall, i would say that it was FUN yet TIRING too..

Tiring is because u have to stand for long hours, there’s no chair to sit at all. Imagine standing there from 10am – 6pm with only like a few mins interval break.. its rly crazy!

But the fun part is, u get to meet a lot of customers and each time they buy ur product, u will feel a sense of satisfaction, or rather when they are convinced by u to buy their product.

But sometimes its not easy to sell, especially the products i was selling are rather expensive but good quality ard $100-$200+. And with the economic downturn and all, not many ppl want to buy expensive stuff..

But there’s always this saying, CHEAP STUFF MAY NOT BE GOOD and GOOD THINGS ARE NEVER CHEAP. Yeah, so if u want good quality, u gotta pay a heavier amt for it. But afterall, good quality means it can last longer, so why not??

There are 2 types of customers, the BUDGET-type and the QUALITY-type. Those that go for budget is only looking at the PRICE..the cheaper the better. While the other goes for QUALITY, the better the sound quality and volume.

Oh btw i was selling IPOD docking stations and speakers. Next to me was a booth selling TDK speakers. Mine was JBL brand, a top selling brand in USA. But the thing is, TDK speakers are cheap so a lot of customers buy.. thus for mine, not many ppl will buy..

And basically, its just like a SAUNA inside the warehouse.. with no aircon, just some fans.. makes ppl sweat easily.. its really HOT inside..

WOW, time seems to fly so fast…. the 4 days are finally over in just a blink of an eye.. time really flies!!

After working for this warehouse sales, i gained quite an exposure and experience of working as a sales promoter.

And the moral of the story is…………………………………

WORKING IS NEVER EASY!!!!

Have to endure long hrs and all…. yeah… but its all part and parcel of life, which is a lifelong learning process…
