Im here to post again. haha..

Alright today went out with my fren, kw to Bugis.

He suggested that place, and just as well, i had to get something at Sim Lim Square so yeah.

So when we reached Bugis, our first destination was… SLS!!

We spent quite a great deal of time there.. finally got wad i wanted and at a not so hefty price.. happy!

After that, it was ard 6pm.. and kw wanted to play arcade so we went to Bugis Junction there to play the arcade.

As usual, i played those fighting games, which are my favs.

And little did i noe, kw is such a pro at fighting games!! Omg.. he beat me in my most pro game, Marvel vs Capcom 2. Aw, so sad..

Haha.. but its quite practical too as he knew how to control the buttons and all while i only knew how to use certain moves.

So his chance of winning is definitely higher than mine.

And then, he intro-ed me a new game, Guilty Gear. Its nice, but i dunno how to use, so end up losing.. hah.

At abt 8pm, we left for dinner.

Finding a place for dinner was quite a hassle.. as we wanted somewhere nice and cheap.

At last, we went to this HK Cafe located at Liang Seah St. Its the TONG SHUI cafe at Zion rd, which i went before. This is another branch.

After looking thru the menu, which contains a plethora of delicious food items with pictures included, both of us finally decided on what to eat.

I became the guinea pig by choosing Spaghetti with Chicken Chop. Why guinea pig? Cos kw told me normally a non-italian restaurant (in this case, its a HK cafe) wont cook nice spaghettis so he will not have any spaghetti at a non-italian restnt, unless that restnt is something like Pastamania, which is well known for their pastas.

Therefore, i decided to prove him wrong by saying HK cafe also can produce nice pastas too.. thus i ordered it haha.

And he ordered rice with chicken in si chuan sauce. We ordered a dessert to share too.. wow.. great expenditure!! =(

When the food came, we began savouring it with delight.

Mm, the sphagetti tasted just as nice as Pastamania, but its a little thicker than Pastamania’s, which i like. Cos when u bite the spaghetti noodle, u can feel the little bit crunchy feeling.. but not to the extend u can hear “crunching noises” lah. haha. or shud i saw its chewy feeling.

As soon as we finished eating, our dessert came and just by looking at it, is already making me salivate.

Before i cud tuck in to the delicious dessert, i felt a pat on my shoulder.

When i turned ard, to my surprise, i saw… my cgl with her frens. Such a small world indeed!!

The dessert are a combo of 3 fruit puddings, mango, strawberry and kiwi with some fruits and sago seeds.. nice!

After the dinner, to my horror, the bill came up as $40 for both of us. Kw nearly wanted to give out 20 bucks, when i later recalled that there was a 20% discount for students.

So with my help as i showed my student pass, we got a discount of 20% and total was $30, so each of us ard $15. Managed to save $10! Yay.

After that, kw wanted to find his fren at the arcade so we went back.

But i din join him for long as my sis wanted me back home to test out the cable i bought ytd.

So off i went to board the train home.

To sum it up, it was a day of pure enjoyment for me. I rly enjoyed gg out with my fren, eating and chilling out.

How i wish everyday can also enjoy like nv before.. but haiz, some days are just so boring :(

A few wks ago, i opened my SP email to see if there were any emails, as i long time nv open already.

And then, in the inbox, this catchy subject title catches my attention:

FREE HAIRCUT AT KIM ROBINSONS FOR ALL SP STUDENTS AND STAFF

So, i decided to click it.

After reading thru the details, i found out it was free for only first-timers to the salon, and the promo lasted from 1st Mar till end of Mar.

At that time it was just the start of March, so i decided to wait a few more weeks before going down.

Finally, the day came when i booked my appt on 24th Mar (quite near to the deadline) with one of the branches at Great World.

That day, my fren Aim accompanied me.

We had lunch first at the coffeeshop opp Great World.

Aft that, i went to the salon while he waited for me.

After showing them my student pass (which is a pre-requisite for the free haircut promo), i was led by a staff to be seated at one corner.

Within a few mins, my stylist showed up with a greeting. His name is Keith and he’s a nice and friendly guy.

To get it started, he asked me what can he do for me, i said i wanted a haircut that suits me. Thats wad i normally say haha, cos i dunno wad else to say.

After hearing what i said, he then told me what he’s gg to do to my hair in professional terms.

There were some parts i dun rly understand.. but anw.. just let him do it and see how’s the result at the end bah.

After a refreshing hair wash, Keith helped me to blow dry before he began cutting.

After seeing the result at the end, it was nice and different look as compared to the previous haircut i had.

When i went to enquire abt the normal price for haircut, i was so shocked.. its $79! OH MY GOODNESS!! ITS SO EX!!

But luckily, i got it for FREE!! Thats the privilege of being an SP student..haha.

I bet not many SP students will noe abt this, cos usually they dun read the emails, except for those active ones…

After the haircut, me and Aim went to take a walk along the road and just blindly walk.. hah.

Soon, we found ourselves approaching Clark Quay.

As Aim gotta leave for his dinner with his cousins, we parted and i boarded the train home.

Today went out to Sentosa with Dom. Apparently it was raining when i set off, so i tot our outing to Sentosa was ruined.

But luckily when we reached, it was not raining, and yet it was such a fine and bright and sunny day!

First we took the monorail to the beach station at sentosa for a walk.

Then we came to the Skyride & Luge shop. Initially i din have any means to try that, however, after seeing how fun it was, i decided to try out the skyride with Dom!

So we went to book tix, and off we go!

One bad thing abt the skyride is.. it won’t stop when u board.. so u gotta faster sit down when it comes.

And for the first time i sit.. the person ask me to sit with my legs separated, and then he pushed the lock down without even noticing it had somehow hurt my leg a little. Ouch!

Anyway, as soon as we settled down, the skyride was already TAKING OFF like an aeroplane!!

Whooo… off we fly… up so high! Indeed its really HIGH!! I am quite scared at that pt of time, but just calmed myself down.

The view is extremely BREATHTAKING! Wow!

Within mins, we arrived at the destination and ended our skyride.

Now this is the worse part.. becos like i said, the skyride DUN STOP at all, so when alighting, u got to faster PUSH URSELF AND RUN OUT from the seat!!

Imagine if ur butt stuck there and can’t come out.. u’ll be in trouble..

And if u dun alight fast enuf, u can get hurt by the force that is pushing u.. like wad Dom experienced, becos he din go out fast enuf..

Whew… scary!!

So now we are at Imbiah station.. saw many things.. and i wanted to go up the Merlion but have to pay $8. Oh well..

Then we took the Skyride back to where we was again.. as we bought the 2 way ticket.

It was really a fun and relieving day. Ended our day by having dinner at Harbourfront.
